Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for VA Loan | NextHome private execution sessions ("the Event") operated by PorchLight Realty ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for the Event.

2. Event Registration

Registration for the Event is subject to availability and requires accurate completion of all required fields. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration at our sole discretion.

Seat Capacity: Each session is limited to 10 attendees. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon successful registration.

Required Documents: Attendance requires you to bring specific documentation including proof of income, VA Certificate of Eligibility (COE), and other items as specified. Failure to bring required documentation may result in your inability to participate in the package build portion of the Event.

3. Communications and Consent

By registering, you consent to receive communications from PorchLight Realty and VA Loan | NextHome via:

• SMS text messages (event reminders, updates, and related information)
• Email (confirmations, preparation materials, and follow-up)
• Phone calls (if clarification or additional information is needed)

Message Frequency: You may receive up to 5 messages related to your Event registration. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may opt out of emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Opting out may limit our ability to provide you with Event updates.

4. Event Details

What's Provided: The Event includes a 20-minute orientation session, live package build with an on-site loan officer, dinner, and beverages. Spouses are welcome to attend.

Location: PorchLight Realty — North Park, 3825 32nd St, San Diego, CA 92104

Duration: Approximately 2 hours in person

Changes: We reserve the right to change the Event date, time, location, or format with reasonable notice to registered attendees.

5. No Guarantee of Loan Approval

The Event provides educational information and pre-approval readiness assessment. Attendance does not guarantee loan approval, specific loan terms, or any particular outcome. All loan applications are subject to standard underwriting processes and approval criteria set by lending institutions.

Pre-approval assessments conducted during the Event use soft credit inquiries that do not impact your credit score. However, formal loan applications will require hard credit inquiries.

6. Financial and Legal Advice Disclaimer

Information provided at the Event is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. You should consult with qualified professionals regarding your specific financial situation and real estate decisions.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your information as described in that policy. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy.

8. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Your Cancellation: You may cancel your registration by contacting us at least 48 hours before the Event. Due to limited seating, late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to register for future sessions.

Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to insufficient enrollment, weather, or emergencies. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible.

9. Conduct and Participation

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, or violates these terms without refund or compensation.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials, presentations, and content provided during the Event are the intellectual property of PorchLight Realty and VA Loan | NextHome. You may not record, reproduce, or distribute any Event materials without our express written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PorchLight Realty and VA Loan | NextHome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your attendance at the Event or use of information provided therein.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PorchLight Realty regarding the Event and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
